I type because it makes me sound like im working.. :D

As i said in the title, i type because it makes me sound busy. My work has been pretty up and down lately; I'm either running around like a chicken with it's head cut off, or sittin' on my lazy butt watching all the seasons of various tv shows on Netflix! Which T.V. shows have I wasted my life watching?? Hmm where shall I start?
- Law and Order SVU
- Psych
- Lost
- Bones
- Prison Break
- Monk
- The Office
- The Secret life of the American Teenager
- 30 Rock
- Parks and Recreation
- Saturday Night Live (1 Season)
- Switched at Birth
- Good Luck Charlie
- Flash Forward
I am sure I've missed a few. Lots of people ask "How in the heck do you have time?"
Honestly, I watch it while I get ready. It helps me wake up and gets my mind thinking. I watch it when im bored doing laundry, cooking, taking a bubble bath, at work, and cuddling with my babe!
I highly recommend all of these. I absolutely loved them all! I LOVVEEE Flash forward!!! (Probably cause that's the most recent one i've watched) Seriously, If you ever have time watch these all. I could probably do Legit Reviews on each of them. haha Ridiculous, I know. ;)

Anyways...enough with T.V.

The other day my dad was talking about a book he read "One Second After" . I decided to download it onto my phone and listen to it since im not really into reading. This book has scared the living heck out of me!!! It is about an EMP (electromagnetic pulse) hitting. EVERYTHING and ANYTHING that is electrical goes out. No phones, no cars, no computers, etc. Right now the prophets are saying "Prepare!! Get food Storage" "We need to prepare now!!"...things i wasn't really worried about till i started reading this book. This could happen ANY minute, ANY day!! It will hit without warning, and we will all be panicking if we are not prepared (myself). While listening to the book, I started writing down the things they mention they need.
Here is a small list of some of the main things:
Medicine, Food, Water, Farms...the basics ( things the prophet has told us to get)
In this book, people aren't prepared at all. The family that is prepared, the town wants to go after to get their stuff. People Kill friends for food or medicine.
I honestly can see this happening, that is why it scares me.
We have been told for years now that we need to prepare!! All throughout the scriptures, prophets are always telling the people "prepare now!" and the people always procrastinate or just don't listen. While reading these scriptures, I always thought "If the prophet told me to do something, I'd instantly do what he wanted. " I didnt realize, that the prophet is trying to prepare us now, and what am i doing? Procrastinating...thinking, oh it wont happen for a long time!! It didnt hit me until this book, that i have NO idea when something COULD happen, and i wouldnt be prepared.
I recommend this book to everyone! In a way, it has helped my testimony grow, knowing that the prophets are telling us and trying to warn us now to keep us safe.
Instead of buying new phones and ipods/ipads im going to start using my money on Storage.
I hope that all of you do the same!!

Love you all!!!!
Muah!

Why oh why oh why...

There are many things that  I wonder "why" about...
here are a few...
1. Why do we press the remote control buttons 2 times harder than normal when we know the batteries are about to die?
2. Why does someone believe you when you say there are 4 billion stars in the sky, but they have to check when you say " the paint is wet"
3. Why doesn't Tarzan have a beard or hairy legs?
4. Why did they put an "s" in lisp
5. Why do people stand by the microwave, waiting for their food to cook, when there is a timer on there for a reason?
6. Why do we check the fridge for food, then go back 5 minutes later, hoping that miraculously, food will appear.
7. Why do people run over a piece of string while vacuuming over and over, then pick it up to examine in, and then set it back down on the floor, for the vacuum to give it another shot?
8. Why is it that whenever we try to catch something from falling off the table, we always seem to knock something else over?
9. Why is it that in the Winter we always try to keep the house as warm as it was in the summer, but during the summer all we do is complain about how hot it is?
10. Why do you never hear "father-in-law" jokes?

Hope this made you as "why" :)

Jess

Funny Stuff

This basically made my day! Sometimes we need "dumb" people to make us happy! :D hahaha
Enjoy:

Customer: I'm trying to connect to the Internet with your CD, but it just doesn't work. What am I doing wrong?
Tech support: OK, you've got the CD in the CD drive, right?
Customer: Yeah.
Tech support: And what sort of computer are you using?
Customer: Computer? Oh no, I haven't got a computer. It's in the CD player and all I get is weird noises. Listen.....
Tech support: Aaaarrrrgggghhhh!!!

Tech support: What kind of computer do you have?
Female customer: A white one.

Customer: Hi, this is Celine. I can't get my diskette out.
Tech support: Have you tried pushing the button?
Customer: Yes, sure, it's really stuck.
Tech support: That doesn't sound good; I'll make a note.
Customer: No... wait a minute... I hadn't inserted it yet... it's still on my desk... sorry...

Tech support: Click on the 'my computer' icon on the left of the screen.
Customer: Your left or my left?

Tech support: Good day. How may I help you?
Male Customer: Hello... I can't print.
Tech support: Would you click on "start" for me and...
Customer: Listen pal; don't start getting technical on me! I'm not Bill Gates, damn it!

Customer: Hi, good afternoon, this is Martha, I can't print. Every time I try, it says 'Can't find printer'. I've even lifted the printer and placed it in front of the monitor, but the computer still says he can't find it...

Customer: I have problems printing in red...
Tech support: Do you have a color printer?
Customer: Aaaah.................... thank you.

Tech support: What's on your monitor now, ma'am?
Customer: A teddy bear my boyfriend bought for me in the supermarket.

Customer: My keyboard is not working anymore.
Tech support: Are you sure it's plugged into the computer?
Customer: No. I can't get behind the computer.
Tech support: Pick up your keyboard and walk 10 paces back.
Customer: OK
Tech support: Did the keyboard come with you?
Customer: Yes
Tech support: That means the keyboard is not plugged in. Is there another keyboard?
Customer: Yes, there's another one here. Ah...that one does work

Tech support: Your password is the small letter a as in apple, a capital letter V as in Victor, the number 7.
Customer: Is that 7 in capital letters?

Customer: I can't get on the Internet.
Tech support: Are you sure you used the right password?
Customer: Yes, I'm sure. I saw my colleague do it.
Tech support: Can you tell me what the password was?
Customer: Five stars.

Tech support: What anti-virus program do you use?
Customer: Netscape.
Tech support: That's not an anti-virus program.
Customer: Oh, sorry... Internet Explorer.

Customer: I have a huge problem. A friend has placed a screen saver on my computer, but every time I move the mouse, it disappears.

Tech support: How may I help you?
Customer: I'm writing my first e-mail.
Tech support: OK, and what seems to be the problem?
Customer: Well, I have the letter 'a' in the address, but how do I get the circle around it?

A woman customer called the Canon help desk with a problem with her printer.
Tech support: Are you running it under windows?
Customer: "No, my desk is next to the door, but that is a good point. The man sitting in the cubicle next to me is under a window, and his printer is working fine."

And last but not least...
Tech support: "Okay Bob, let's press the control and escape keys at the same time. That brings up a task list in the middle of the screen. Now type the letter "P" to bring up the Program Manager."
Customer: I don't have a P.
Tech support: On your keyboard, Bob.
Customer: What do you mean?
Tech support: "P"... on your keyboard, Bob.
Customer: I'M NOT GOING TO DO THAT!!!

Make time stop!

Where has the time gone? I swear it was just yesterday that I was graduating...but it's been 1 year and 5 days. It's seriously insane! Now Keaton is a SENIOR. WHAT THE HECK!?! I was just a senior. Carson is now a sophomore. Im so blown away at how fast time flies.
I remember going into the Highschool for the first time and thinking "3 years till i'm out of here." I dont know where that three years went. It makes me want to cry. I feel like I never even went to school.   When people told me that life flies by I didnt believe them. Now I understand. Every year goes by faster and faster.

Josh and I have now been married for 49 days! It's been a crazy 49 days but amazing. I love my husband so much. He does so much for me and I dont think he'll ever understand how grateful I really am.

So, last Thursday, I received a truly amazing Blessing.  I got a new job at Timberline Engineering and Land Surveying. Josh and I had been struggling with money and trying to find a car that we could afford for me. Now we dont have to worry about that. The Lord Really blessed us.
